Something not working?
The app can’t find the gateway
Give it a good 2 minutes from power-on. Stand within a few metres of the box, and make sure your phone’s Wi-Fi is on — the app joins the gateway’s own network called AERO-Setup to talk to it.
I typed the Wi-Fi password wrong
No harm done. The gateway waits about 45 seconds, gives up, and puts AERO-Setup back so you can try again. Start the setup again from the app.
It says the site is being activated
That is normal and it is not stuck. AERO approves new sites by hand, usually the same working day. Your gateway is already recording — nothing is being lost while you wait.
What is this box, exactly?
It watches your air compressor and dryer and reports to the AERO app. It cannot make the compressor unsafe: if it loses power or the internet, the machine keeps running on its own controls exactly as it did before.
